Policies

Vaccinations – We require written documentation from a licensed veterinarian that Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordatella are current. Unlike some veterinarians we require the Bordatella to be updated every six months due to the interaction among our guests.

Forms – We require that each new customer complete one Client Information form and a Dog Profile form for each dog. These forms are available in the “Forms” section and may be emailed to us when complete.

Spay/Neuter – Dogs older than 6 months must be spayed or neutered to play in our community play areas. Dogs not spayed or neutered can board at DogDayz but they will be kept out of our community play areas.

1st day of DayCamp – Your dogs first day of DayCamp is an evaluation day. Evaluation days are free and require reservations Monday - Thursday. We would like for your puppy to arrive at 6:30 AM so they can be the first dog in the play area. They then greet the other DayCampers so they are gradually introduced to group play.

Boarding Check-in/Check-out policy – Normal check-out is before 1:00 PM and normal check-in is after 1:00 PM. We do allow check-ins and check-outs outside the normal time period for an additional fee.

Lobby Closed days – Our lobby is closed for holidays. For 2008, our lobby will be closed:

Easter Sunday, March 23rd
Memorial Day Monday, May 26th
July 4th Friday, July 4th
Labor Day Monday, September 1st
Thanksgiving Thursday, November 27th
Christmas Thursday, December 25

Lobby will close early at 2:00 PM on

New Years Eve Wednesday, December 31st

Minimum Night Boarding stays – During holiday and peak periods we require a minimum number of nights for boarding stays. Most weekends during the summer we do require a 2 night minimum. For 2008 the minimum stays are:

New Years 3 nights
Spring Break 5 nights
Memorial Day 2 nights
4th of July 3 nights
Labor Day 3 nights
Fall Break 3 nights
Thanksgiving 4 nights
Christmas 5 nights

Deposits/Cancellation Policy – For our first time customers we require a $40 deposit that will be credited towards the bill upon check-out. This is refundable if the reservation is cancelled 48 hours prior to you scheduled check in date. For holiday stays we require a $75 deposit that is refundable if cancelled seven days prior to the scheduled check-in.
