About Us

DogDayz Playhouse and Retreat is a local, family-owned and family-operated business. It began because of one very special dog, Gabi. DogDayz Manager Brian, a self-proclaimed "dog wimp," couldn’t bear to board his own dog, at any of the kennels in town. (We hate the "k" word, by the way, which is why we hope that word doesn’t even cross your mind when you visit us at DogDayz.)

As a traveling salesman, Brian encountered other "dog wimps" who felt the same way as he did. So with Gabi as his inspiration, he started designing a boarding facility suitable for his own four-legged child. He knew Gabi wouldn’t survive boarding if left alone in a kennel all day. She’d need human interaction and other dogs to play with, so he started Doggie Day Camp! Because Gabi hated sleeping on a concrete floor after sharing his bed with him, he also built bedroom-style Cabins with raised beds, fluffy blankets and cable TV! Thus DogDayz was born. The best doggie day-care center in Indianapolis ,Noblesville and Hamilton County area.

Every guest at DogDayz Playhouse and Retreat is spoiled with the same care Gabi receives daily. After all, it is a family business, and Gabi takes her job as front-door greeter very seriously!
